Fuller Prewitt Sinclair was , according to Riptide, born in Canada, and came west as a trapper in the same party as Isaac Graham and Job Dye. Arriving in our area in the mid-1840s, he joined Fremont's California Battalion in 1846. In later interviews, Dye remembered his name as "Pruett St. Clair".
