Owen Summerfield Tuttle (1850-1921), son of Daniel Tuttle and nephew of Owen Tuttle, born in Iowa, came to the Pajaro Valley in 1852 with his parents. He took over a Watsonville meat market from his father in about 1880, and remained in that business until 1896, when he retired to farming and stock raising.
