Henry Raymond Judah, Jr. married Eva Bowman, daughter of Gustavus Bowman, and the couple lived in the large Third Street house built for her in 1885 by her father. Judah later served as a state senator from 1941-1952. Judah's great-uncle was the railroad engineer Theodore Judah.
