Riverwalk

The Riverwalk is a Santa Cruz city park comprising the multi-use paths atop the levees on both sides of the San Lorenzo River. On the east side of the river, the Riverwalk passes through San Lorenzo Park. Near the north end, the Felker Street pedestrian bridge was built to connect the two sides of the park. At the south end, the narrow wooden pedestrian bridge adjacent to the San Lorenzo trestle was rebuilt wider in 2019. To complete the loop without leaving the riverside, a bridge spanning Branciforte Creek was completed in 2017, along with a new section of the path that drops under the Soquel Avenue bridge.
