Doak, Thomas
From Santa Cruz County history wiki
Thomas Doak was one of the first non-Spanish-speaking residents of California. He was a hunter-trapper (British? American?) who came to San Francisco by sea in 1816 and moved south to Branciforte, then up into the Summit Road area in 1850.
