The Capitola railroad trestle is a high, and highly visible, part wood-part steel railroad bridge across Soquel Creek in Capitola. The first version of the trestle was built in 1874-75 for the Santa Cruz Railroad. It will become part of the Santa Cruz Rail trail system, but work on this section had not begun as of January 2023. Whether the necessary improvements are feasible is an unresolved issue.
