Empire Grade Road

Empire Grade Road is one of the major roads in the Santa Cruz Mountains, running northwest along the spine of Ben Lomond ridge from the UCSC main entrance at Bay Street through Bonny Doon and a number of smaller communities/neighborhoods, to a point just short of Highway 236. From near the northwestern end, Jamison Creek Road winds down the mountainside to connect with Hwy. 236 near the entrance to Big Basin Redwoods State Park.
