Robles family

The Robles family was one of the earliest of the Californio families in what is now Santa Cruz County.
- Jose Antonio and wife Gertrudis Merlopes were one of the first eight Branciforte families.
- Rowland wrote about "The Robles Boys" - four of the eight sons of Jose and Gertrudis - who "came to a bad end".
