Villagrana, Miguel
From Santa Cruz County history wiki
Miguel Villagrana was an early resident of the Villa de Branciforte pueblo. In 1837 Governor Juan B. Alvarado granted him a triangular parcel measuring 44.32-acres. It bordered a creek known today as Arana Gulch. Known as Rancho Aguajito, it was one of the smallest Mexican land grants. The eastern boundary of the parcel is the creek, which is part of the eastern border of present-day Santa Cruz, California. Most of the former grant land is now part of the campus of Harbor High School.
